Hi everyone, I am new to this site, just joined about.. 5 minutes ago. I know most may laugh but I have been a Toyota and Mitsubishi guy only. I am new to the Nissans, and I do not know much about how they operate and how fails at what times. But I do know I want to learn everything possible and expand my knowledge. Now bare with me here, I want to swap a rb26dett intoa 94 maybe a 95 and up 240sx. I would like to know if I am crazy for even wanting to do this without further knowledge of these cars. I am convinced that I can swap the motor int eh bay but I have some questions that I am unsure about, he wiring harness Ill get do i plug it into the 240's harness, or splice it there so the gauge still works? Also the drive shafts do i need a custom one for the car and rear dif? and last what mounts do I need a website would be great.

Thanks so much guys I know you're all mad at me for posting this and again I am sorry but I would really like to try something I am unsure about.

First, welcome!

2. If you are looking at a '94 240sx' it is going to be a convertible only. I assume you are talking about a s14 (95-98). RB26 into S14. Done countless times.

3. Read the 'stickies' at the top. They will answer most of your questions, along with avoidance of being flamed. Also, plan on having around 12-15,000 on hand for the swap, not counting the chassis.

4. There are a lot of good resources, best would be the big RED SEARCH button on the upper right corner
