Ok, I have an R33 Rb26dett and it seems that the Power FC is the way to go. Now I have seen a ton of these outfitted with Power FCs but most of them have the stock or z32 AFMs on them. I plan on putting down between 400-550hp at the wheels. I don't want to be a dyno queen so peak horsepower is not that important to me but rather having a nice fat power band. So my question is which Power FC setup to go with, and why? The D-Jetro illiminates the the AFMs and you install one or two maps sensors instead. Money really isn't the question here since for the additional price of the D-Jetro version I could easily buy a couple of Z32 AFMs. Pros/Cons? This car will be street driven from time to time so starting up and ideling is a good thing and the car may need to pass smog in either California or Arizona. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has any good base maps or knows where to find some that would be great also. Not sure if I will have it tuned to pump gas or race gas yet. It will be street legal but not a daily driver. Thanks in advance,Tim

you should have no problem reaching your goals with either l or d jetro. we have similar setups, i'm running L-jetro with a pair of rb25 mafs. the mafs can be finicky, but in general i've heard its easier to tune. i've never worked with a d-jetro so i don't know first hand how it calculates load, and what map sensors you need to get. shops may also be less familiar with d-jetro just b/c it is more rare.

you can also eliminate recirc w/ no problems w/ d-jetro. l-jetro you can mess with decel gains to avoid backfire, but so far i haven't had too many problems running no recirc.

if i could start from scratch and money weren't an issue i'd probably get d-jetro just to avoid potential maf problems.
