its a shame sp wrecked that car. it was absolutely beautiful. perfect fd in my book. was my wallpaper for like 3 years.

cant wait to see how the rb fits in the e30 (if i can see correctly, the red one right?) i was thinking about an rb or similar in an older 5 or 7 series bimmer, like a fast and more importantly smooth highway cruiser.

the LSX motor is 29" from the back of the block to the front of the water pump ... the rb26 is 31" from back of block to the front fo the crank pully. not that much longer but WHY do it?

if i saw anyone cut up and e30 m3, id kick them in the teeth. that car doesnt deserve it. sooo many rare. but +1000 for making the 325 look like one. you can prolly find body parts at the yard for nothing. i saw a e30 in a junkyard with the body matched lip just yesterday. shame the backhalf of the car was missing, it looked really nice.

^^^ ironically, i sold it to buy the lotus. I pulled that motor VVV out of the skyline GTR that was owned by the guy that bough my motor. He is putting my built motor into his R32 GTR. Weird, eh?

just messing around. pulled the motor out of the gtr. Real nice grey r32 with tons of suspension mods... and project mu brakes!(for the record, the shocker is the ****ing worst thing ever...)

removed the oilpan. I cut of the dif housing. Going to mill off the extra, then weld the holes closed. It only weighs a few pounds more than a steel one and it's sturdier and provides better baffling and heat transfer. Hopefully it will clear the e30 X member.

I am going to use the rb26 transmission and just notch the transmission tunnel as needed. It's only about 50 lbs heavier than the rb25det unit and it's much cheaper. I'll keep posting pics. I still havent recieved the E30... hopefully sometime this week.

Also ordered my gt35R and tial BOV for it today...
