Hey I would like you guys to check out what I will be purchasing tomorrow. I'm getting this clip from venus-auto. Could you all tell me what you think? Also if anyone out there could give me any warning why not to buy from this company please let me know before I finalize tomorrow or any good things to say about them as well would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Check pics

nice induction box, save that. Some GT-R owner in the states will want it. That cut looks old as hell though, plan on a complete engine overhaul.

i plan on having it stock but i might pay someone to overhaul idk yet though. any suggestions on what i should do when i get it? i've read some things including the faq on the sticky that kamin wrote. although a good friend of mine said i'd be better off just leaving it the way it is. you know minus replacing oil and other little things but other than that he suggested i just leave it alone and start it up. thanks for responding

Use your judgement. If you pop off the valvecovers and see any sludge or heat discoloration or any other sign of abuse assume the motor is a grenade with the pin halfway out and overhaul it. You won't have that option if it forces the issue a month down the road when a rod converts your block to air cooling.

i hope you know what you are getting into here...not being mean but rather blunt it sounds like you are almost clueless as to how to do this swap, you can read all you want but realsiticly you HAVE to have the ability to engineer stuff to make it work...it is not plug and play like an sr and not an almost drop in like the rb20 and 25.good luck to you.

If i get the rb25det transmission along with clip it will be about 5k, but i think its like an extra 2-3 hundred if i want the rear end assembly

actually i do. thanks 4 giving me good luck tho. i took everything into account that can be thought of before actually starting. i was hoping i could get it done under 10k completed worse case...and if i was lucky maybe keep it at 8k or below. either way i WILL get it done.

ill go aftermarket mounts like mckinney to have it drop in easier for 1500 if we cant get it 2 work with custom ones.

i got a friend who fabs stuff all the time since he is retired now and he was a maintenance guy at my work for a big company were he fixed stuff ranging from eletronics to simple stuff like chairs.

im not worried about getting it to fit im jus worried about condition and wat to look for in that instance. any input there? thanks again
