RB26DETT coolant routing questions.

The basics:No heater.Grex remote oil cooler/thermostat plate.

Do 1 and 2 have to be connected if I'm deleting the heater and running a thermostat plate? Is there a way for the coolant from the rear to get to the neck internally? Can 1 and 2 be blocked?

If they must be connected, what is a good size tubing or hose to use?

im not sure what a thermostat plate is so i cant relate to that

but on my rb25det, my heater lines and stock oil cooler were connected to those two

and i removed the heater AND bypassed the cooler just by connecting those two nipples with a hose... as far as the size.... f*** if i know, just bring one of the nipples or a piece of old piping to the auto parts store.

i havent ran the car this way yet but i dont see why it wouldnt work...
