rb26det tps wiring help

I am having a little trouble with the tps sensor. I think it is a loose ground somowhere. I don't have the wiring diagram but the problem seems to be the black wire coming from the motor harness for the top plug. If I play with it, the cel goes away, wit I can't find the loose connection. Is it a ground? Can I wire it directly to where it needs to go? I am working with a butchered harness so I can't really trace it. All the help is much appreciated. Thanx.
