does anyone here think its a good idea?

i was thinkin of throwing in a t3/t4 single into my rb26 since the stock turbos are way too cluttered and makes my engine bay look messy.

its my cruise around/track/random race vehicle.

pros and cons are great

thanks for any input.

tried about 15 or so differrent turbos on rb26's over the years at the shop ( http://www.statustuning.com )and the best of the bunch are:

TD06sh-25g (10cm)T67-25g (10cm)K5-660R (#7)K5-700R (#9)

t3/t4 is old tech and pretty average imo.

A T3/T04e will make about the same HP as the stock twins. Maybe a little more, but not enough for it to be worth it. If you want it just to be pretty, your dumb. A T3/TO4s might be a LITTLE better, but a T3/TO4r is a bad combo. Surges like a mother and there is no point. Most of the cost of going single is all the associated hardware, not the turbo itself. If you are going to do it, do it right and get a nice turbo. If you are cheap (or you just like great performing turbo's), look at a Holset HX35 or HX40.
