So i dropped the trans last weekend and installed the CC twin disc setup and when i was putting the trans back on I did what I knew I was not supposed to do. I kept putting up the trans and no matter how many times I dropped it back on my chest and bench pressed it back in (jackstands) I couldnt get the last half an inch of the trans in so i checked the allignment tool that that all seemed to work fine so i put in the 2 long 14mm on the side and carefuly drew the trans into place. Long behold, I cant get it into gear with the car on. It sounds like the input shaft is still spining when I pressed the clutch in and the synchros just cant catch up. I ran out of time and didnt have a chance to check the slave. What should my trouble shooting steps consist of?PS The motor does sound awsome. Its so uncle bens that the car sounds like a gsxr750 lol

just to eliminate this out of the mix: Verifying that you are running the correct pressure plate for the transmission type as in (push type pp to push transmission or pull type pp to pull transmission)

I'm not sure about the CC multiplate clutches but for most all other multiplate clutches you're required to run a special throwout bearing. Was this the issue with your clutch; and did you change it with the appreciate bearing?

Once you get to check the car again, make sure that the slave is traveling accordingly and not bleeding off the pressure.

it is a puch type clutch. The bolts all seemed to lign up on the flywheel and the disks all went it with no problem as well. i did replace the throw out bearing with the one that was included in the kit, but did not replace the pilot bearing sice i figured there is no change in the input shaft and that copper ring is such a pain to pull out. There was no damage to it so i just left it. I hope bleeding the slave is all i have to do but since I never disconected it, I have a feeling the problem lies elsewhere.I know that i have to build a stop plate for the pedal in order not to damage the clutch but even with the pedal pressed all the way down, the input shaft was whining AKA it did not stop spining.
