Rb26 tach problem

so my rb26 is throwing off my RPM gauge and i was wondering if there was a fix for this.

the needle wraps all the way around, even when there are no numbers.

do i gotta buy an aftermarket tach?

get the tachometer converted for your setup, a number of shops including myself can do this.
