So i was looking around the internet for ages looking for an engine to swap into an awd car that can be turboed and make a crap ton of power. I have heard of skyline conversions on 240sx so they have the awd and rb26, but I already own an s12 200sx and don't want a 240sx. I think it would be extremely difficult to swap a rb26 and its transmission into my s12 so I am looking for another car to swap either just the rb or the rb and its transmission into another car and have it awd. I will take anything as long as its not a truck or suv. Is this swap even possible without dropping 100k+? Let me know what you guys think.

R32 GTR would be a good car to swap it into.

Doesn't the r32 gtr already have a rb26dett? Plus I live in the states so rhd would be an issue. Unless a lhd conversion would be less than swapping in into a completely different car. I would rather a newer car but I would take anything at all.

I'm only saying that because you can import the R32 legally now vs before.

You will legally be able to import and register 1989 GTR's this year. Beyond 25 years, the car is seen as an antique and can be registered as an "antique" in most states. However, some states that suck, like Illinois, place mileage restrictions on how far you can drive it every year. I'd like to see them enforce that though...

Ive seen the RB26 rwd Swap done on the s12, but not the awd setup. You would be the first if you do, and there is a small handful of 240sx with the rb26 awd swap. I say do what you want, I think an awd rb26 Swapped S12 would be bad a** if you ask me.
