hi,well i had my wiring harness done by stephen at swapwiring.com, and well lets say its a big cluster screw! i had many problems getn my car running due to the wiring being incorrect.

i finally got it to work but now the harness is just a big mess. im in the process of redoining it(shorting wires to the proper lenght, not 5 ft longer then needed) also rewrapping the harness to clean up the engine bay.

i need some help identifing a plug. it was never used nor nothing plugged into it. i need to know can i just eliminate it from the harness or is it need and what connects to it. location- on rb26 harness right where the plastic cover starts(covers the wires going by the fuel rail

picture(the plug on the bottom,)

2nd thing im going to be running the greddy emanage ult. with this setup. im opting to use the map sensor instead of the stock mafs. my question is since the greddy map sensor comes with its own harness that plugs into the emange unit itself can i just remove the orignal maf wiring from the harness, like depin it from the ecu? or is it needed for something eles?

thank you

thats pretty poor picture man, try taking a clearer one and give us a pin count and wire colors would be helpful also.

That looks like the heater valve plug that I think that you don't use on your swap.

Sorry for reviving this old thread, it's sort of unsolved anyway. :) Been checking my engine bay when I found an unplugged socket behind the igniter. And it seems to look like the one drftnrps13 is asking about. Can't confirm though because of his blurry pic. Here are some pics I took...

Any inputs will be appreciated. :)

Sir Ramius83 is that the same harness plug terminal in question?

Yep, that is the heater control valve connector. Not needed as the S-Chassis does not have this electronic valve. The S-chassis actually uses a mechanical wire that connects from a manual valve to the heater case. Just leave it unplugged. When I cleaned up my harness this past winter, I removed the wiring in the loom. But because of it's location, you can just tuck it behind and no one will ever know its there.......

Wow thank you sir!! After weeks of confirming and finding what this plug is! Actually the car is a GTR, I tried asking to the GTR forum here but they gave me no answer. Looks like you know the electrical of the RB26 more than them? ;)

So that explains it, I remember the old Japanese mechanic said he removed the heater on the car before. Since back here in Manila it won't see much usage since it is hot here most of the time. Super thanks again Ramius83! :bigthumb: Now no more hesitation when driving me aaaR. And this thread is finally really solved this time around.
