Question: Why do you want to go with an RB? That is a LOAD of fabrication, only to get it to fit decently. A load more to have it functioning properly. As far as the transmission, I know the RB25 trans will bolt to the VG30, but not entirely sure if the Z32 trans will mate with an RB26. It should, but I'm not gonna make any guarantees. As far as turbos that work well with Skyline engines, I would recommend checking out the Skyline forum on this site.

I'd still recommend doing a TT swap, as it will be much easier and much more cost efficient.

yeah i know the vg tt is a good motor, but i just dont like it when you can't work on it cos of the limited space and turbo size in the engine bay

if you get a full swap with transmission, you can just mate up the bell housings and you'll be okay i think. but, good luck with the swap. its a f*** money pit. SIKKY.com is working on an RB swap kit for the z but, nothing yet.

you are not mistaken. it will. but, you are gonna need a franken-pan or a different crossmember and custom motor mounts, A/C delete (at LEAST) and a bunch of other work. if you have experience with custom fab and/or hookups with a shop, go for it. but if you happen to be on the unexperienced side and seem to lack hookups, dont try it.
