Wasn't their GTR build done sometime back in 2005? I was able to find very little info on RB26 port work. The shop who ported my head built a fixture to flowbench the before and after. Their port work yeilded some decent results over stock. The air traveling from the intake side to the combustion chamber has a much more efficient path compared to the stock casting. When you stuck your finger down the intake runner you could feel an abrupt drop onto the top of the valve. They took a fair ammount of material out of this area to give the air a straighter path. My original idea was to just have them clean up the exhaust side, but ended up changing my mind on which cams to use thus the whole head was done. The only thing I wanted to do was remove the squish area (like CursedGTR's cyl head) but would have had to pay a LOT more for them to write a cnc program.

idk i thouught their gtr build was on going i am pretty much using them as my benchmark and closly monitoring their build i like their turbo nitrous setup from zex its likt 600 bux and a 75 shot yielded 150 more horses to the wheels, i mean a to4r with a 20lb bottle will last forever since the nitrous is made to sense boost pressure and turn off at a desired psi

The zex kit has got to be the best on the market right now. RB, it would completely solve any worries of to big an a/r. I will absolutely be getting that kit after I build the bottom end up next year. It sprays all the way to full boost then shuts off. The control unit also senses if you start to lean out and shuts off.

To be honest, I never considered the use of nitrous. I'f I planned to drag the car on a competitive scale, I'd be all over it. All of this power in an S14 is going to be pretty well useless anywho......I've really begun to question if I have gone waaaaaay overboard with the moifications. I wanted something to be a weekend driver....The GT3037's are a great kit for big top end HP......It is going to make the car useless unless its a 60-1XX mph roll.

I used to think like that until this winter. Seems like everyone around here went out and got a 03 cobra, new z06, put a kenny belle, or a procharger on something. Now we got all these monsters running around and I've got to stay competitive. If you run 12's around here, you're slow. While you shouldn't have any problem with that, that spool up shot would be awesome on your setup.
