I have to fix my crank collar so while I'm at it I'm going to do everything. The oem pistons are not damaged at all so I intend on keeping them and from what I have read the oem rings are good enough for 500hp. Where can I get oem rings besides from nissan japan?

I actually just found - Tomei Titanium Coated Top Rings - $149 shippedSize: available in 86.5mm, 87mm or 87.5mm

Would it be possible for me to use them on the stock pistons?

Are they the file fit type (hence the larger than standard bore sizes...) ? File fit rings are a pain :-p

rb26 rings from that guy cost 550... not 149. 149 is for the ka24 motor, is what he advertiving for tomie rings.... lol at 550, I rather order from tomie direct,, for cheaper.

I was looking to replace my rings on my RB25 build, but had a very difficult time finding the right size. Over the course of my search, I swear I ran into a set of aftermarket rings for the RB26 from CP or Wiseco or some other major manufacturer. Sorry I can't remember. If you really want to stick with OEM parts, you can also look into some Aussie shops because they can get them just as cheap as the japanese.

I don't know of any other way to fit rings other than to file fit them. I just bought a ring filer for $30 and it was cake! Just make sure you follow the ring manufacturer's specs and not the FSM if you go aftermarket.

Just out of curiousity, are your rings out of spec or damaged or something? If they are in good condition (smooth edges, no knicks) and they are within the FSM spec, I would consider reusing them. How many miles were on your motor when you took it apart?

The RB26 rings are considerably beefier than the RB25 and can hold considerably more power. The main difference is in the top ring. It is about 33% thicker on the RB26.
