Rb26 noob questions

So I bought a r32 gtr a few weeks ago. Car is really clean has only 48000 kilometers on it. Car has a 4in HKS exhaust, cat deleted and a 3in downpipe, also has an HKS intake on it. The ecu is a Tomei tuned ecu but I have no idea what its tuned for(probably just exhaust and intake). Right now I am running stock boost but I would like to turn it up, what would be a safe amount just to get some more power out of it. Also what should ignition timing be set at? Right now at idle its at 20btdc which seems incorrect.

not sure about the rb26 but the rb25 is suppose to be ~15*TDC.

and i thought rb26s had a boost limit on the knock sensors or sum, that was 10lbs. but if you turn it up a couple psi your mafs should acount for the extra air, and add gas. just aslong as its not to much boost.
