rb26 motor

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I basically joined this forum because i need some guidance on the motor that i want to put into my 1992 nissan 240sx.

I'm considering putting a rb26dett motor into my car(yes i know about the crazy modifications that must be done.)

I've been doing a lot of research and comparing the different engines, and i really want to fit that rb26 in.

I checked out the sr20 but too much people have those, the rb20 is basically the same as the sr20 but slightly heavier, the rb25 is pretty mean but the rb26 i heard was like god among engines.

I know it can be done because I saw a article online showing it being done, but I wanted to know how i can go about doing it. I already put a body kit on my car, is that going to be a problem?

I have never done that swap but i would think that ur probably going to want to pull the bumper at least so as to damage it when u put the motor in, but like i said i have never done that exact swap.

really wanting a rb26dett is a good start. the next step in that is to have about $10k on hand for the installation and parts. It might be a better idea for 15k for just in case there's other stuff that's broken along the way. Lurk in the RB forums, but there's alot of stuff now that you can buy that'll make this swap a bolt in, just alot of changing parts around. good luck.
