RB26 injector pintle cap replacement?

I just picked up a set of stock 444's from my buddies running 26 swap. I unfortunately cracked one of the pintle caps on one injector. does anyone know of any replacements from maybe a usdm car that I can order?

You can run w/out those caps.......Z32 guys run them all the time w/out the caps.....

Is this true. If not let me know where you find a pintle cap because I need one to. Also a very tiny piece of plastic fell into the plenum. Should I open it up to get it out or will it just blow through w/o a problem?

use caps.

without caps the fuel doesnt atomize with the air as well because the spray pattern isnt linear/smooth.

Thanks Joe. Also, do you think that little plastic piece will just blow through w/o a problem. It is about a mm in size.

maybe take them off of KA injectors, or atleast rx-7 injectors.

KA injectors have different pintle caps. Not sure about RX-7. I might have a hook up on some rb26 pintle caps in the next few days. I'll let you know if I can get some extras for you.

seriously?topfeed denso injectors are top feed denso injectors...ka-e injector caps WILL work on rb26 injectors, they are the same style injector.

i had a couple of mine break off and when it did, the lower o-ring blew out and flodded the engine. i sent mine off to deatschwerks and had them cleaned plus they re-did the pintle caps.
