rb26 in 280z

i just fell into some money. found a 83 280z with a perfect body but the motor is shot. is it possible to put a rb26dett in it? money will absolutely be no question.

also on a scale 1(low) 10(sweeeet) what do you think about doing this

it would be an 8....in a 240 it would be a 9, and in a 240 with AWD it would be a 10....oh and my ride will be an 11, whenever i complete it...

your puttin a 20 in the 240 aren't you? are you going to put a turbo upgrade on it? if so, what turbo?

go to http://www.hybridz.org i don't know if anyone has put a RB26 in a 280ZX, but there are a couple people with the motor in 240Z's.

I think I remember night saying that they had gotten a 240Z and dropped an RB20det into it. I dont see why there should be a problem with an RB26 into a 280. However I could be mistaken, but all signs point to yes...
