rb26 harness on rb25

just wondering the likely hood of a rb26 harness working on a rb25 (main engine harness) i am sure most of the sensors match up but will things like the CAS have same pinout, and obviously vct is not gunna be on a rb26 harness, but are coil pack harness the same, injector plugs the same stuff like that any suggestions post em up !!

CAS should have the same pinout , the CAS's and the firing order between the RB series are the same. CAS types differed in the late late model r33 and r34 (black cas) and I know there was a point where early RB20's had the square connection plug. Other than that you should be fine.

What ECU are you running?

try it and run a d-jetro 26 ecu. won't be that hard. injector clips probably different. ignitor stuff may be the same, if not, not hard to redo.

o2 sensors are doubled up, mafs are doubled up, but you'll have the map sensors anyway that you can Tee in instead.

lower subharness connector might be different but still you could figure it out easily

what about injectors ? thats my biggest concern right now, i have 740cc inj but they side feed and are from a rb25 heh

get new plugs, get rid of the resistor back

ok cool, so i use my rb25 plugs, and cut out the resistor box, sweet so this way i dont need new rail or inj !!! hmm might have a start up video soon ....

OK WOW, i need if possible a harness layout of the rb26, first off, rb25 has 2 coolant temp sensors that idk if rb26 has, , the coil plugs, are the same but i need a ignitor from a rb26 or modify one from a z32, basically outside of the coilpacks, cas, mafs, and injectors idk where the **** the rest of plugs go, and if i even have them like i also found out ineed a coolant temp sensor (both of them), oil pressure sensor
