Like the thread says are there any RB26 guys down in the SC, Georgia, Florida area? Im having some issues with mine and Tophat performance in Ga seems to be out of business. If anyone has done a RB swap or knows someone who knows their stuff let me know cause Im tired of searching around this site and alot of others coming to a dead end or posting and getting 70 views and no reply. If someone has done one of these and is good a troubleshooting, Ill post up the symptoms and what my friends and I have done to try to fix them. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply guys! Anyway the car does a few things... 1) When I got it, it would not idle but once it was on the freeway it was fine. I thought it was a vacuum leak but so far my friends and I cant find one.

2) Disconnected one of the MAFs (it's a stock R33 GTR motor) and it idled fine however it wouldnt rev over 2.5k. Disconnected the other MAF and it idled as well. As soon as the MAF was reconnected... the car died again.

We tried cleaning both MAFs and interchanging the connectors and it did the same thing. I suspect the wiring is bad or something maybe a ground or some other thing that is causing the ECU (also stock) to not get the right signal. We are at a total loss. Only other recourse is a totally new wiring harness for it because the one that is on there is complete crap. So if any of you guys have experienced this and had some success diagnosing/fixing it let me know Im about ready to just sell it lol.

Yeah gonna shoot Mack a call to see what he thinks about the problem. I has to be something with the MAF cause if it were fuel or a vacuum leak it wouldnt idle with the MAF unplugged.
