Hey guys I was searching around ebay today and I came across an aftermarket gasket set for the rb26dett made by a company called Yonaka. The kit has almost all the same gaskets and seals as the Nissan OEM kit but it doesn't have the Nissan Sealant. I was wondering what are your guy's thoughts on these kits. Is it worth buying? How is their quality? Are they just as good as the OEM kits?

I don't know about the quality of the Yonaka kit or even the "quality" of the OEM kit. The oil gaskets in the OEM kit are made of paper-like material so I don't know what that says. The main things I would be concerned about is fitment of the oil seals mostly the rear main seal because it is the most difficult to get at if it fails.

In all honesty, I think BNE's stuff is a little bit overpriced, but they have proven to be a reputable company and people will pay a little more for trust. I'm sure you will be fine with either set .
