RB26 FD3S: quick vid

Hey boys and girls. Here's a quick vid of my car running down the street. Apparently the noise from an unmuffled RB26 fragged the isht out of my camcorder's mic. I apologize for the sound. I also apologize for the lack of tire marks. Cold auto-x rated Hoosiers just make powder when cold. I'll heat 'em up better next time

It does feel good. I'm still hesitant to drive it a ways for some reason. I think when you do a build this extensive, you are always fearful of the little things you might have overlooked.

Anyway, for the short jaunts it's run, it hauls. I've never thought 335's would have that hard of time keeping traction.

The car is getting tuned late July. That will give me enough time for a proper engine break-in. As of tonight, the car offically has 18 miles on it.

In other news, I installed a new firmware on my video camera so hopefully it will fix the overly sensitive microphone issue. I'm eager to take some more videos. Maybe tomorrow.

In the meantime, here is a shot from a week ago. The car has both fenders on now though:
