rb26 excessive blowby?

i have my breathers on my valve covers going to a catch can and then vent to the atmosphere. when i put my hand on the atmo. vent hole on the catch can during idle i feel a blowing of air. know i just wantd to know how much is normal? for an rb26 thanks

I have the same issue with my rb25, hows the oil look/smell? Also check your compression.

My case it seems that my rings are ****ed. good luck.

you will always feel some air coming out at idle. is your catchcan filling up after you rag on it? the last time i was at the track i checked my catchcan before and after a 20 minute session. it accumulated probably about 5 drops of oil, not much at all. my catch can fills up with water vapor more than anything

well i havent driven the car. but yeah i see water vapor in the line too. i hope its nothing to worry about!

There was a slight breeze coming out of mine last summer, it is normal. Like gawdzilla said, there's a lot of moisture that comes out of the crank case vapor.
