I would like to ask a few noob questions about the rb26 engine...

(sorry if anything has been answered already or can be found easily but im still searching and no luck) but if it has; sending me a link to that info is just as good please and thank u

i've read that the rb26 engine can INTERNALLY handle up to 600hp STOCK1. is above statement true for everything inside engine?ie. rings etc

2. can oe bearings handle the same abuse safely? and is that constantly or only moderations?

3. can i safely/reliably higher my redline? and can it be done w/o extreme modification?

4. how or what should i do to get achieve question #3?

5. any recommendations to have done to get a rb26 engine to 500whp the right way, safe and reliable?

FYI this engine will be set up to handle 500whp as a street/weekend track car. But i'd like it to be built to handle that 500hp safely with abuse to it like if it was only used on the track.

thank you for all info and hlep

not being rude or a d!ck but you cant ask everyone to hold your hand on every aspect of the motor.if you have a 26 you are part of the few that have them...that being said look on sau for builds and see what people have been doing to the motors to get the power they have been.remember that in the end that a motor is only as strong as its tune, a poor tune will turn a 15k$ motor into a scrapheap in less than a few seconds where an amazing tune can keep a internaly std motor alive at retarded horsepower levels for some time.
