RB26 Crank + RB25 Rods and Pistons

Hey,,,, just refreshing my engine RB25 and looking into changing to RB26 crank to strock up my engine

BLOCK: RB25
CRANK: RB26
PISTONS: RB25
RODS: RB25
HEAD GASKET: 1.2

does that fit?? any help

you would need the RB26 pistons i beleive, as the extra stroke of the 26 crank would crunch everything into the head otherwise

Might as well throw some OEM RB26 rods in there as well. You can usually find them pretty cheap.

I've already forged RB25 pistons and rods
that's why am wondring if I could put RB26 crank

what about 1.8 head gasket ?? does it make that work

or just back to RB25 crank

Ahh ok. Then just get a set of RB26 forged pistons and put those on the forged RB25 rods. Don't use a thick head gasket to try and compensate, it will only end in heartache.

heh, I'll just stick with RB25 crank
soon I'll get a R32 GT-R thats the time to build RB26
