OK, i may get flamed for asking this but i dotn care bout it. my question is, can a stock RB26det fit into a 240sx, and can the body support the power of the motor. Do I need to purchase a roll-cage or what? Please post what ever knowledge you ahve about this. I would greatly apreciate it. And if a stock motor can, will it fit with modifications or will it tear the frame n body to pieces?

welcome to NICO man, yes an rb26dett will fit into a 24osx, it has been done before, however it is VERY costly, and is more logical to go with the rb25, you dont NEED a rollcage to make it work, although if u plan big power, it is a good idea for safety and chassis rigidity, and no it wont tear the body into pieces, as long as u know what ur doing, also, try searching, you'll probably find more opininons and answers on this

in stock form, no it will not fit.

you need a rb25det transmission among other small things.

search tho, this has been covered MANY times.

thanks for the correction, and yes it does take a lot of custom fabrication, and also, an rb26dett awd transmission can be used, but good luck with it, ive never actually seen it done, but a skyline powered 4wd 24o would be aweseom
