If I understand this right, most of you buy clip´s from Japan companies. If you get a RB26 clip, do you leave the transmission at the company or keep it?

The reason to my question is this, I´m helping a buddy finding a 4WD transmission from R33 or R34 GT-R and maybe it´s cheaper to split a clip with a RB26 buyer?

companies give the transmission with a clip or motorset and to get a transmission separate is usually expensive. atleast a rb25det one. however u said u wanted awd transmission? if so there should be a good amount of people here that have one that they dont use b/c they did a rb26 swap but used rb25 transmission so they have a rb26 transmission just collecting dust. it would most likely be a rb26dett awd transmission from a r32 tho. good luck

That´s what I wanted to know. Do you know if the clip includes front diff as well?

Thanks and keep me in mind if you´re buying a clip and want to sell the transmission, 4WD one.

i will keep u in mind if i do buy which might happen today.

the front diff runs through the oil pan so if i do get my clip it better come with it or something is real wrong. basically a front clip is "suppose" to come with everything that is on the front half of the car unless they tell u otherwise of missing pieces.

oh but sometimes miscellaneous things do come up missing but i've never heard of anything big like a transmission or oil pan etc...

What´s the normal price for a GT-R transmission? R32 and 5-speed are ok.
