Rb26 catch can problem

Hello all i just recently picked up a 240sx with an rb26 in it, idk what i got into things nuts crazy fast built motor with a 60m turbo any way things blowing out white smoke not a lot but enough to know theres something wrong. i took the catch can off and it was filled with oil cleaned it all out but when i took it out i noticed the first hose was connected to the valve cover breather and the other hose is connected no where just pointing down and open, is this right? any help would be much appreciated.
