Rb26 Cams on r34 Rb25det neo possible?

hey guys, i was wondering if r34 rb26 cams will work on a neo head since it doesnt have hydraulic lifters?? i know the VTC wont work, but are the cams interchangeable with the exception of the VTC?? i've searched google, and cant come up with any definitive answers, anyway, if anyone has done this, please chime in, thank you.

Are you talking about trying to use stock Rb26 cams or aftermarket cams?
