Hey guys I'm looking for turbo upgrades and I am hearing good things about the new borg warner EFR setups. I hear a few of r34 guys have it and are claiming -10 hp with -7 response. If that is the case i cant imagine the asswoopings that will ensue. As for me I am thinking about a smaller single turbo like 550-600 whp. Something like the 7670 efr not sure if i want a t3 or t4 flange yet. The internal gate would be great for the S30 chassis as far as packing is concerned. I talked to Jon at Full-Race and he said no one has their manifold in a S30 I am going to take some measurements and send them to him and see what he thinks. Is anyone running the EFR setup, either in the twins or a single upgrade?

The EFR is a good turbo. Response on these are comparable to the newer generation turbos on the market (GTX series, PTE Billet Series, etc.)

We have fitted our manifold and a larger PTE 6766 in a S30 without problems. Lee, shoot me an email.

I'm still waiting on BW to fix its supplier issues for the 9180 so we can slap it on my car. Its the same frame......basically a bolt in swap with the exception of some coolant lines to the the turbo. It looks to see about 15#/min increase over my current 9179 with all the extra benefits of the billet wheel, stainless housing, etc.
