Is the R32 RB26 air temp sensor the same as the coolant temp sensor? and what is/are the part number/numbers. Are they the same for any vehicles here in the US?

Called up Jeff at Nismoparts.com and he sent me an email of the part number

Part #22630-01u00

Now does anyone know if a 300zx part #22630-51E00 will work? I looked at them and they look similar with the square connector.

Just thought I'd let everyone know I checked autozone and looked at the picture and bought a Coolant Temp Sensor for a 98 240sx and It's the same. Thread size and round style connector are the same.

Doesn't mean they are the same resistance. You can't use a maxima sensor on a 240sx even if the connector is the same the resistance curve is not.

Maybe you got lucky, but the air temp sensor changes your timing and fuel curves. Id want to make 100% sure you have the right one. It might just think it runs hot, and pull timing, or it might add too much timing. Not something I'd want to risk.

I didn't even think about that, thanks. What's the temp supposed to be? I'll check my nistune and see what my reading is.
