Does anyone know where I can get 88mm pistons for the RB26 that will provide a 8.5:1 compression ratio? I haven't had much luck looking for them with search engines such as google.

BC(Brian Crower) makes them and i believe that JE does too. All you have to do is decide which companies pistons you want to use, call them up and see if taht supply them.

87.0 is preaty much the safe limit for the cylinder wall to have a high HP rb26

I know this is somewhat risky but I've heard of it being done successfully. I know that the Brian Crower stroker kit can be used with a 88mm bore and it has worked out for those who have used it. So I think its worth a day, and this car will still somewhat be my DD and just a fun street car so it will never be constantly under max boost or pushed to max revs so I think it will be okay.

stop right there.

cheap, reliable, fast. choose 2. you will never have the third.

p.s. 88mm is pointless and retarded. you cant honestly be doing this for a displacement upgrade, right?
