I'm guessing crank collar led to spun bearing(s). Did anyone hear when they tried to start that thing? Sounded like the starter could barely get it to turn over.

its sucks cause in the begining of the show no one even questioned the 240 they where all worried about the lambo, lotus and charger and the 240 showed up that overpriced lambo wich i found hillarious.

Oh brother...So it wasn't the NISSAN GTR that got you to buy your RB26? It was some kid's 240?

It would do in a pinch, but I've seen better setups. I think we should lobby to get someone else's 240 in there to show the country what's up.

They bring great dishonor to the RB 240 community.

yeah maybe underground when they are finished.. or Boostdz's when hes done. It needs to have forgies/oil pump issues solved, and over 500whp to qualify.

I was watching that episode when that motor blew, and I could just tell exactly what the problem was when it happend. The only thing that gets me is just WHY ? I mean you spend the time swapping the motor, wouldn't you just spend the 100 some odd bucks to prevent a problem that is known on these motors ?

Even more dumb was the fact that they had the motor completely apart to rebuild it with forged internals and STILL didn't do it. I'm thinking someone isn't a member on this board because we have effectively rammed this subject into all the regular RB forum users brains.

I live not to far from these guys. In my opinion they are completely worthless. Supposedly friends of mine watched the little balding guy from the show (eric) use a hammer to slam pistons into a 25 when they would not fit. Surprisingly that motor did not run. Also in my opinion the guys who work at that shop for the most part know nothing about cars. They are basically a disgrace to the 240 community. How sad that they were the representation on national television. Also I recently heard that the same guy blew that 26 up again because he put in two of the pistons backwards.

Also I will add that they definately did not fix the crank issue because I used to be cool with them and I got my 26 through them and when I demanded that it be an r33 because of the crank collar issue that eric guy initially told me I was wrong and that they were all the same. Luckily I pretty much already had a low opinion of him and knew he was full of **** so I got a 33 anyway.
