What are some of the pros and cons of each? I know the SR20 is popular becuase of ease of swap compared to its cousin the RB, now the price of the engine, labor, parts, etc. is also an advantage. But something about the RB25 in a 240 just cant get out of my head. i mean what can i expect from it, is it really worht spending a couple g's more for this machine?

Not to many people have experience with the RB series. Since there only available in Japan. Having them imported and tuned is a lenghty, expensive process. So most people go for the SR. Me personally, I'll take the RB over the SR. But I'll also take the KADET over the SR as well.

The SR engine has been tried and true. I think that it is a great engine, but like the saying goes, theres no substition for displacent(ok maybe not like that but whatever,ya know what i mean). The RB26 is new here in the states, so it isnt as common, but i think once this route of hybird is exploited, it will be the new standard for most high peformance 240s out there. I dont know much abou the RB swap (umong most of us i suppose) but as a power enthusiast, i dont want to rule out the RB as a possible option, just for lil money and time it will take. Just curious, can anyone enlighten me by telling me whats involved in this swap? i dont want a whole walk-through, but just the major modifications and other problems that could be encounterd. thanx in advance. one.

no replacement for displacement? but yea 2 more cylinders..straight 6's sound badass. i wouldn't have anything else to say. sr would be easier to maintain though, and easier to find parts for.
