If I remember right I thought I came across some one that has used VG valves and valve springs in their BR25....if anyone knows anything on this please let me know. I am looking for a friend...he also is running an RB25 and the timing belt decided to snap on him and bend a few valves.

Thanks.

I am not sure about the 25, but the 20 accepts the lifter, valves, and retainers. From what I have heard though the valves don't fit, but I haven't gotten a straight answer yet...

i dont know why you would want to use VG valve springs, as the RB revs higher than the VG

they are not so hard to find. I have a extra head in storage. with all the valves. how many valves, springs, or spring buckets do you need?

Oh yeah and let me know what ones because IIRC the intake is 7mm diameter and the exhaust is 6.

Reasoning for VG is beacuse they are going to be easier to come by and much cheaper then the RB.

burnin240sx- if you have a set that you are willing to sell then I would be interested in the whole set I am sure...mattering on the pricing. I have a Japanse connection...but even there it is hard to find a used set of valves for a 25. Let me know if you would be willing and how much. e-mail is: [email protected]

Yes that is correct, but you aren't looking at the bigger picture. What if you want to rebuild your head and use better springs. It will be much easier to find upgraded VG springs than it will be to find upgraded RB springs. Also downtime will be much less with the VG springs since they are so easy to find...

Point of Contact for rb25det is RON FIFE.

I emailed them about 2 weeks ago about rebuilding my rb and they confirmed these parts for an rb25det.

vg stuff (springs, lifters, retainers) WILL work in a rb20 head ONLY.valves will not due to retardely length diffrences.
