I'm considering puting one of these on a Ka24E for around 225HP.

What are the specs on this unit?

depends on what generation

both S1 and S2 will be a t28/t3 hybrid, but the S1 turbos have a ****ty ceramic exhaust wheel that will explode/fall off under higher boost (1 bar-ish) while the S2 wheels run a steel wheel that is safer higher but is still well outside of the efficencey range of the turbo.

Should I take this to mean that the turbo isn't a very good design? What is the A/R of the exhaust?

I'm only looking to go about 225HP so fast spool is where I'm at. These are ball bearing turbos aren't they? I'd imaging they spool fast.

yea they are ball bearing, water/oil cooled turbo. if your looking for just 225 hp, it should suit your needs just fine.

i wouldnt count on it all are ball bearing, some are not BB--regardless, these oem turbos are purposely designed to have low power output--overworking it only shorten its life.
