So, i removed my eng/trans for proper cleaning and building. After all the work was done on my engine i started cleaning up my transmission, in doing so i loosened the check ball/spring fitting and it fell into the case. i have the check ball/spring and fitting out now and was wondering if there is a special method of install so it doesnt fall in the case again?

any info would probly greatly appreciated thanks

Update, i just put the check ball back in while the motor and trans are installed and i didnt hear it fall in the case and seems good. So, the check ball/spring on the passenger side of the transmission fwd of neutral safety and reverse light sensor can fall into the case of trans if loosened! Not to worry (as of yet) just retrieve it and put that s*** back in there. More to follow if i have any issues once i get to drive it, ill update as i go.
