regular light weight gear oil - holds 2.5-3 qts i think - for future try searching, this type of question has been coverd about 1 million times

i dont remember seeing it mentioned million time!!?.

RizzoTK: go with Redline ShockProof (light) for the rear diff; and 2.5 quarts of Redline 75w90 mtl for the transmission.if your local store doesnt carry Redline products; you can use BG synchromesh or pennzoil sychromesh. pennzoil sychromesh helps prolong syncros and lower potential grinds
