Good Morning Everyone,

I'm posting this because my friend has had his RB25DET S2 for quite awhile and sadly it has never ran 100% since he did the swap. He has tested different sensor and what not and right now he is on to testing and setting his TPS. Sadly, again, all the information I have read on here and all the other websites/forums for setting the TPS do NOT follow the RB25DET FSM at all. Everyone is setting the TPS (a variable potentiometer) using volts. This is INCORRECT. So here are two screenshots straight from the FSM to hopefully clear up the information that is out there as of now.

Isn't the first step check the voltage at WOT and closed. looks like it says if you have atleast a 3.0v difference its ok.

The voltages in the first picture should be a result shown in the data monitoring mode from the TPS being set to the resistance specs under component parts inspection.

Are you talking about measuring resistance within the TPS with it unplugged vs. measuring voltage with it plugged in?

When the ECU is ON, the output from the TPS to the ECU should be just above 0V closed and <5V WOT like the FSM says.
