I recently changed the set up. I had recently changed the set up by going to a different turbo and exhaust manifold. I had a Equal Length Exhaust Manifold made, Top Mounted, as well as a 3.5" Downpipe which is now being used. That goes Along with a GT40/67 Turbo with a Ported Shroud. The car recently made 543 Hp and 463 Tq on a Mustang Dyno. That was done on C16 & 26 psi. Still STOCK cams.

If you are still on stock cams, I'd say that's where your restriction is coming from.

I'd say a set of cams is good for prolly 100hp in that setup at least.

Its an aeromotive, I wish i had some smaller pics to post up, i have some pretty good ones.

I am still going to be parting it out very soon, but thought i would post some pics while it still belongs to me.

I will try and get a dyno graph / and or video up. With some cams and more boost i say it would make approx ~650ish.

It is a custom fuel rail, i had a local guy make it for me. Changed the injector feed to a top feed set up. Also make it Dual Feed

forgive my newbieishness but why is there no air filter won't that f*ck up your engine as soon as it sucks in a grain of sand and f*ck up the turbo as soon as it sucks up a rock??

You don't need a filter running down the track. I never used to run a filter on my chevys.

Where did you get that turbo bell? I am looking for one for my malibu with a Garrett series 60 (not 60 trim), It has a 4" air inlet and a 4" exhaust outlet. I have found a couple that are like 2.5" opening. Here is a pic of the turbo next to a K26 which is about the size of a t28.

norikumiin- There aren't too many rocks bouncing around in the engine bay and even if there were, it would take a miraculous bounce to enter the turbo. Sand and grit could get sucked in as well, but it won't KILL the turbo. If run for a long period of time (months) without a filter, you might run the risk of having excessive wear on the compressor housing and/or impeller.

ehacker01- HKS makes a 100mm suction funnel for $~$115 on nengun.com. 100mm isn't quite 4in, but 3.937in is pretty close. It's anodized purple too for all you limp-wristed types

Have you thought in all honesty what the chance of a rock bouncing around in your engine bay, and some how dramatically finding its way into the turbo is ? I would say next to NONE. If i am ever driving far i will put a intake on it, i have a 4" intake that i made, it uses a 4" K & N Air Filter. I went to the tracka few weeks ago, the car went 6.8x @ 105.x in the 1/8 mile.

$110 is a little much. I found some from some guy in australia for $55 but then shipping would almost make the difference. If anybody comes across one let me know.
