Rb25det Tomei valve springs Type A

hey guys, i recently took my head to the machine shop to install my tomei valve springs. Had to do some head work. Prior to installing the INTAKE side springs i was told that the spring pressure rate was weaker then the oem springs. It was about 10lbs weaker then the oem. Did i get a bad batch of springs or is this how its suppose to be? any info would help. thanks
