5 is pushing it.

without a wideband there is no way to know how far you can safely advance it. leave it stock unless you can monitor your AFR's.

Didnt think Timing changes AFR. It didnt with my SR. I know when ever they tell you to tune a standalone, to tune the AFR first then the timing. If anything I guess youd need a knock meter for the timing.

That is wrong, timing always effects the AFR's. Timing is part of the tuning process.

lol timing is a HUGE part of your afr.

if you are trying to take AF readings off your stock o2 sensor, DONT. you need a WIDEBAND.

+1. Since my timing was far too advaned on my SR and it ended up knocking at high rpm and boost which lead to ringland failure.

Same with a friend of mine on his KA-T when we hooked up a wideband to it, having the timing advanced he had AFR's all messed up.

Yea i follow you. My SR always ran 11.5 AFR using the Innovate LM1, even when i increased timing from 15-20* on that it read the same AFR but my SAFC started picking up knock from it so i turned it back to 15*. Ill leave the RB alone. Ive got a AEM Uego on that but doesnt read accurate due to bad exhaust leaks at the turbo elbow. Always shows lean even though its running rich enough to smell the hint of gas at the exhaust leak.
