It the pitwork timing belt (part # Ay440-NS014) reinforced/stronger than the oem part? Someone told me nissan made a kevlar reinforced timing belt.

Does anyone know how it compares to a HKS, Tomei etc timing belt?

I got it as part of a deal buying a McKinney driveshaft, and was simply wondering how it compared to other timing belts...

I'm surprised no one knows it ifs simply a OEM replacement, or an upgrade...

the pitworks belt is an OEM replacement and regardless of power levels I have yet to see one fail. But this doesn't mean for those who still have their dry rotting belts to slap them back on and use them. When replaced appropriately they will hold up to the task.

I agree. while the belt on the motor looked "perfectly fine", I figured it'd be better to replace it with something I know is new.

There's no point to doing something half assed.
