rb25det throttle cable bracket stock manifold option

So first i had my cable zip tied to the stock bracket, i pondered the string theory from home depot but did this up at work for fun, all welded nicely, im going to get it powder coated to make everything else under the hood.

About 7 inches of flat stainless steel 1/4" stock and a drill and welding, noticed i cut the stock bracket and used half of it for the guide, lines up perfectly and puts the cable in that little indent on the manifold.

Christ! That is the strongest throttle bracket, I've ever seen! Overkill, but cool nonetheless!

yeah i tried to find something thinner but it was all out of the recycle box so i put it toghter

Wow! I used a piece of aluminum strap with a pair of washers and it worked well. There should be _no_ reason for yours to move now!

haha, holding it wasnt the issue, i just wanted something to bring the bracket up to that point and that material did it....

I always jsut made a L shaped bracked usually out of an scrap of metal hanging around such as the one bolted to the bottom of a KA auto transmission, then sliced a U in it.

the 5 min and a grinder fix, until i get a new plenum.
