hi, i've tried looking everywhere i possibly can and i can't seem to find any here states side. does anyone know where i can get an automatic rb25det swap here states side?

I see great clips on ebay all the time.

Ideally buy a front clip because it often comes with lots of extra goodies, and eventually you can sell the rest of the front end.

( better yet... import a rear clip and weld them together ) nevermind

order from someone thats on your side of the country. and check their experience and history with regards to the engines they sell.

then once you get the motor, remove the valve cover, and check for rust.

then lastly do a compression test, and send the block to a machine shop for balancing, and maybe even a slight bore.

thats the only/best way to build a motor.

jhot imports is also good.

website should be like jhotimports.com or something. Google it.

They usually have clips all of the time, and they never seem to sell automatics quickly when they do (for obvious reasons).

By the way, why automatic?

i bought a automatic rb25det s2 from jhotimports in denton, texas....If you need the auto transmission from the rb25 also included is the torque converter and the auto driveshaft...

don't get me wrong, i can drive standards but i just prefer automatics
