Hi guys.

I have a 92 Nissan 240sx. I was going to do an SR swap until I was in my friend's 89 240sx with RB20DET. That thang had mad torque. Now I want to do a RB25DET swap.

Is the Nissan Skyline GTS the RB25DET motor? I saw them for 2,000. Is that how much they usually go for? My budget is about 4-5k dollars. Will I be able to pull it off with this budget? Thanks

budget? and RB? HA, those two shouldnt even be used in the same sentence, let alone the same post.... Always expect things to cost more, because they always do. 4-5 k will get you a half decent swap....But it will be motor only. No brakes, suspension... tires.. all stuff that should be acounted for in any motor swap.

thats the main problem. I'm in Seattle, WA. and there ain't much shops around here with deals like California.

So 4500 would only get half the swap of RB25DET? What about RB20DET? And why should they not be used in the same sentence, they are RB's after all right?

I'm confused and i"ve done the search not much had came up.

Thanks for your time.

rb's are expensive because they demand attention and expensive gifts that you can never afford.

cars are only cheaper than a girlfriend if your car doesnt have an rb in it.

well...so is it a better idea to go with RB20DET than the RB25DET?

I've looked at many wiring diagram. Is there one this is less confusing and revised?

Thanks.

Hit up Drag Drift AutoX. They are in Washington. So it may be a little drive, but not California by any means. Lou is a good guy.
