Sorry about the post referring to me as another person, I just copied it from a friends post he amde for me.

Enjoy!

Started bright and early this morning, bout 8 o'clock. Had the motor/transmission out of the car by 11:30 and eatin' Taco Bell by 12...Started prepping the RB for install and then puttin' the RB back in and with a few problems that arised, engine and transmission was bolted in, ready to go by about 7 o'clock. Finished up some small stuff and we called it a night...time to do the harness and other s*** tomorrow.

Ugly KA24...

Me undoing the downpipe.

Almost ready to pull...

Me draining some transmission fluid

Pullin'!

Pulling...

I think I cracked a joke about how s***ty the KA24 is lol

Out!!!

Finken grinding away at the battery tray.

Painting the bay...

Lookin' sick!!!

Drilling holes for those stupid motor mounts...

One's done.

Me and Finken trying to finesse the b**** on.

Done

Finken and Rob moving the motor to position.

Going in!!!

How many morons does it take to put in an RB? 5 apparently...

Almost in!!!

So close...

Being a b****!!!

Steve trying to line up the mounts...trust me. You'd rather eat your own head than do this.

Dad trying...

Wasn't fitting...surprise!!! Turns out we had to pound out the firewall for more clearance. Not reading directions FTL haha

Finken + Blurry object (Hammer) = Win

Notched

Take 2...

In the car!

Finken and Dad overlooking the mounts...lined up!!!

SWAPPED!!!

Steven happy...

Money! How many morons does it take to put in an RB? 5 apparently...

the speed at which you swap makes me look like a small turtle like snail creature.

took me 3 months to pull and replace my KA...although there was a wedding and other events, but STILL! No excuse when you did it that fast.Much respect, keep up the good work!

I don't think I have ever had 5 people in my garage at once. Nice job. Clean workspace.

not bad for a handfull of "morons"! I wish I had 4 buddies to help with a swap. None of my friends know jack about cars letalone a swap.

I did get a little deja-vu. Some pictures repeated themselves in your thread.

Car will be a track car, and a summer car.

The car is getting painted now that Ive finally done the swap. Black.

Different wheels as well.

I did the wiring myself. I still dont have a MAF, fuel pump, driveshaft, fluids etc.

But I decided to bump the starter last night and it worked. Just got to hope for spark and fuel now.

I did all the wiring myself.

I just stepped into an SR20 recently, but have driven a hopped up RB car. I know you'll love it. Good luck with it and congrats on the fast swap.
