By asking such questions, "you are not prepared"

Do some more research. Your post contains numerous questions that are asked everyday and have answers floating in the stickies and the first few pages of this forum.

To help you out on your search:

The first thing you need to have lined up is a healthy bank account, check.

Second, if you are doing the work yourself, you'll need just common sense.

After you get the motor in and running or what not, and now desire more HP; what are your goals? HP wise, application use, etc.?

Stock turbo with bolt ons and EMS will get you to roughly 300whpGT3071R with 700+CC injectors, EMS will get you 400+whpGT3076R abit moreGT35R will be good for more than the limits of your "SOCK" RB25.

At that point look into insurance into some of those internal units.

Spend time lurking and reading. Asuming that the 1989 in your SN means you are 19 years old, I doubt you'll be doing more than pipe dreaming anytime soon anyways.
