It's actually really cheap to put an RB in a 240. Since they are both made by nissan, it all but bolts right in. I would shoot for an RB26, since they are usaully the cheapest. All in all, if you have about $700 saved up, I would go ahead and rip the motor out of my car today, because the RB will be up and running in no time!!

lols.

if you're paying to have it done, and want everything done correctly, i'd say no less than $7k. including mount kit, driveshaft, FMIC, greddy IM, timing belt, water pump, oil pump, bov, IC piping, clutch/flywheel, stand alone, etc. it aint cheap man. but you have to pay if you want to play.

you will also want bigger brakes, wheels/tires, suspension done BEFORE doing the swap. makes it all come together nicely. i know a guy that had stock brakes and suspension on his S13 when he did the swap. it was cool going straight. but stopping was an issue.

Aw man!! I really wanted this 17 yr old newb that doesn't have any money, or clue how to read stickies and use the search button to rip the motor out of his car. As a matter a fact, I think I'm going to try this from now on. Play along next time and lets see what happens

O yeah. Newb......... Read above and consider before you post again.
