ok im planing on doing the swap sometime this week not sure if u should just pay a shop to do it for me or just me and my friend put it togather ourselfs, plz dont hate. I was just wondering what do u think i should do do the job my self and save 1500 on the install or do it my self, and if anyone in the area done the swap already and want to share there knowledge ill be more then happy to listen. Or even a help. thx a lot by the way i got a 96 se

Do you have a jack, jack stands, basic metric tools and an engine hoist? If you do, do it yourself and spend the 1500 on aftermarket stuff.

Probably will need some wire, soldering equipment, electrical tidbits too.

its not hard mechanicaly, if you just keep your wits abound and common sense it can be easily acomplished.just do your research, all the info is there...wiring however depends on how comfortable you feel with splicing a handful of wires.gl to you.

I'd suggest you check out the DIY RB25DET DVD available from one of our NICO sponsors (Drifting.com). After you watch it you should know if you'd be comfortable doing it yourself. You can always pay to get your wiring done professionally.
